CJS Vineyards were established in 1995 with a small planting of Riesling and Cayuga White grapes. Today, there is a total of three acres of vineyards that also include Chambourcin, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Franc vines. The Aurelius Winery building, which also serves as the tasting room, opened in May 2003.
CJS Vineyards and Aurelius Winery specializes in making crisp, clean, exciting wines in dry and semi-dry styles that compliment a wide variety of cuisines; the winery boasts, “a wine for every meal.”
Featured new releases include the ‘2006 Riesling’ with fresh citrus flavors and a crisp acidic finish and ‘Villagio Blanco,’ a delicious zesty, tart wine with a lemon sent. Both of these wines are perfect with summer cuisine.
