Fun Fact about the Syracuse area …. did you know …..

… many famous visitors have passed through Onondaga County. In 1932, the Sherwood Inn of Skaneateles (known then as Kan-yo-to Inn) was once visited by Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt when her husband (soon to be President Franklin Delano Roosevelt) was governor of New York State. Mrs. Roosevelt and her party stayed at the Sherwood, dined at the Krebs and stopped at the Skaneateles Country Club for a swim. Other prominent visitors to the Skaneateles area over the years included current Vice President Joe Biden, actress Julie Harris, former NYS Senator and Attorney General Robert Kennedy, former President and Mrs. Bill Clinton and actor Woody Harrelson.
