Emerson Park’s picturesque Island Park is the perfect setting for this challenging, fun and community-oriented event! The OwascoMan Sprint Triathlon draws many of the area’s finest athletes and also provides an opportunity for the beginning triathletes to “get their feet wet” and experience the excitement of this multi-sport event! Register now, this event is limited to 600 participants.
This year’s Owascoman Triathlon will have a wave start,
grouped by age group.
Wave assignment will be determined by final race numbers and
distribution of age group athletes.
Swim: 1000 yard swim
Bike: a 14 mile ride along the West side of Owasco Lake
Run: a 3.1 mile run through and around Emerson and Island Parks
Race Packet Pick Up Options:
Picture ID and USAT Card required at registration
Race participants are responsible for picking up their own
Race Packets—No exceptions please.
Please make sure to bring picture ID and USAT card with you!
Awards: Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers.
Age Group Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each category.
You must be present to receive your awards.
Awards cannot be sent to you – sorry.
Goodie Bags will be given to all participants and include T-shirt, latex swim caps
and other items from our sponsors.
Parking: Parking will be available at Emerson Park for a $2 fee.
A USAT Sanctioned Event
Annual USAT membership or one-day license required.
