Thursday, November 17 – An Evening with Henry David Thoreau – Auburn Public Theater, 8 Exchange St., Auburn. Presented by Richard Smith at 7:30pm. Join actor Richard Smith as he portrays Henry David Thoreau for an evening of history, literature and anecdotes. Mr. Smith is the official Thoreau re-enactor in Concord, at Walden Pond and at the Annual Gathering of the Thoreau Society. Thursday, November 17 – Rug Braiding Workshop – Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center 205 Genesee St., Auburn. Enroll now for Rug Braiding with Florence Smith at the Schweinfurth Art Center. Karpinski St. Educational Center – Ward O’Hara Agricultural Museum, 6880 East Lake Road, Rt. 38A, Auburn. 11:00am-7:00pm – Doug’s Fish Fry, eat in or take out. 2-7pm – music by Mary Ann Finn on Keyboard, 3pm – ribbon cutting ceremony, reception to follow.
