The Cayuga County Office of Tourism is open from 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday.

Saturday, November 19 – December 31 – Cayuga Museum 75th Anniversay Exhibit – Cayuga Museum of History & Art, 203 Genesee St., Auburn.  View the 75th anniversary exhibit chronicling the history of the Cayuga Museum of History and Art and the Case Research Lab.  Also enjoy the new exhibit ’Quilts’ by the Cayuga Lake Quilters Guild.  315-253-8051 

December 16 & December 17 – Candlelight Tours – Seward House Museum, 33 South St.  Celebrate the arrival of the holiday season with an enchanting candlelight tour of the elegant Seward House Museum. Top area florists, artisans and the Skaneateles Garden Club have adopted the Seward House to provide a showcase of holiday decorations! Experience the unique charm and history of the festively adorned Seward House Museum. Prepaid reservations required. $10 adult, $8 for twelve and under. Tours at 6:00 and 7:00pm.  .  315-252-1283

December 16 & December 17 – “Dolphin Boy” – Auburn Public Theater, 8 Exchange St., Auburn.  A true story about the healing power of nature.  Dolphin Boy tells the intriguing story of Morad, a teenage boy who was left in an almost vegetative state after being abducted and beaten. Two weeks before being committed to a mental institution Morad’s doctor recommends a radical treatment: Dolphin Therapy. December 18 – Family Series – David Kirk, bestselling author of Little Miss Spider – Auburn Public Theater, 8 Exchange St., Auburn.  David Kirk is the best–selling author and illustrator of the ’Miss Spider’series of books for children, as well as the ’Biddle’ series, and Nova’s Arc. With stories in verse, and bright, colorful illustrations of animals and robots, Kirk has captured the hearts and minds of millions of children around the world, as well as many adults.  2pm, Sponsored by Wegmans and Skanarts, $5 suggested donation per family at the door.  315-253-6669

December 21 – Longest Night Service – Westminster Presbyterian Church, 17 William St., Auburn.  The service offers a message of hope and comfort for anyone who finds the holidays difficult, due to loneliness, insecurity, loss, anxiety, or even just the stress of the season, through candlelight, hymns, special music by the Westminster Choir, and a message by Pastor Phil Windsor. This is the seventh year that Westminster has offered this service to the community. 7pm.  315-253-3331

December 23 – “Life in a Day” – Auburn Public Theater, 8 Exchange St., Auburn.  Life in a Day brings together the most compelling footage from YouTube to create a 90-minute film crafted by Macdonald, executive producer Ridley Scott, producer Liza Marshall, and their teams. December 26 – December 30 – “Models of Strength” – Dr. Joseph F.
