Super Saturated: Pigment & Pattern is an exhibition of 29 works by 10 contemporary artists that use paint, collage, and mixed media to create vibrant works that emphasize color and pattern. Fold & Unfold: The Cloth and Quilts of Elin Noble will include approximately 20 works by Massachusetts-based fiber artist Elin Noble. Author of the book, Dyes and Paints, Noble is known for her quilts that incorporate hand-dyed cloth. Recent work by Skaneateles artist Thérèse Verley Strodel will be on view in Gallery Julius. July 15th – “English Threshing Barns in Southern Cayuga County” – Howland Stone Store Museum, 2956 State Route 34B, Aurora.  Want to know how to date your old barn? Both societal and agricultural issues affected the evolution of threshing barns into the 20th century. This program will include an overview of threshing barns: development in England; framing, raising; scribe and square rule layouts; and tools used.
