Junior League of Syracuse

Fun Fact about the Syracuse area …did you know… … that the Junior League of Syracuse has promoted volunteerism for women in the area for over 90 years & has benefited over 100 various agencies & countless women, children & families .   Some of these include the creation of the first prenatal clinic in Syracuse; securing a home for the Erie Canal Museum; supporting such social advocacy groups as the McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Group, Vera House, Southwest Community Center & Huntington Family Center on various projects; music, art & science education programs in conjunction with the Discovery Center (now the MOST), the Everson Museum of Art, the city of Syracuse School District & the Rosamond Gifford Zoo; and assisted in the founding of Home Aides of CNY just to name a few.  The Junior League of Syracuse is one of 293 leagues in the US, Canada, Mexico & the UK with a total membership of over 170,000 women.
