May 2nd 5pm-8pm
Join us for a First Friday reception, featuring live American acoustic music by guitar player & vocalist, Tim Herron, and a photography exhibit by emerging artist, Caleb Filer. Tim is based out of Syracuse, New York and plays in a band, as well as playing and singing solo. Caleb is studying photography at Onondaga Community College, where he is graduating in May 2014. His work focuses on “details often overlooked,” resulting in breathtaking images of the natural world.
In addition to our First Friday reception, the Seward House Museum will be participating in a small Arbor Day ceremony taking place in Seward Park at 7 pm, where a tree will be planted. Please stop by to be a part of this celebration.
As always, guests are invited into the Museum to view the Dining and Drawing Rooms, with docents on hand to answer questions and interpret the spaces. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
This event is free and open to the public.
